Working in a shift or a steady day job can be monotonous and restrictive. You go to work and leave at given hours. For others, these hours change every week, messing with one’s sleep cycle. Then, you go home tired with more housework like taking care of the kids, and more.

Sometimes, the pay is not good and there’s a lack of employee compensation. Most of the time, you don’t even have the freedom to have fun on your own or tend to your hobbies. However, there is one way to break out of it and that’s to start a business of your own.

Don’t have any idea for a business? Here, you can use these ideas.

1. Freelance Writing ($2k-$50k a month)

A lot of stay at home jobs pay good and freelance writing or blogging is one of them. You can earn good money just for sharing your thoughts about your chosen niche and expertise. If you have a lot of traffic, you’ll earn more from ads on your page.

2. Life Coaching (Earns $70 – $280 a session)

Some women need help to attain their personal goals. You can be a business coach for ladies who plan on starting a small business. If you’re an experienced mother, there are also some who need your coaching to get through new experiences such as pregnancy.

3. Interior Designing (Average earning starts at $51k per year)

We all love to decorate and style the insides of our home. Like choosing the fabrics and color for this area and that. Yet only a few of us have the talent for this. Are you one of them? If you are, you might want to consider this career.

4. Fitness Trainer ($10-$50 per hour)

I know some of you female readers out there have a fitness background. There might even be others who are currently having their own programs right now. Why not share your methods and secrets of having and keeping that figure? You’ll be earning at staying fit at the same time!

5. Event Planner ($25 per hour)

The world doesn’t run short of celebrations. Birthdays, weddings, baby showers, gender reveals, you name it. If you’re good at making themed decorations and concepts of surprises, this may be the right business idea for you.

6. Food Services ($54k per year)

Talent and passion for cooking good food should never go to waste. You can start by having a small catering business. Showcase those recipes you so proudly made. Then, expand your solopreneurship by partnering with event planners for more opportunities.

7. Online Teacher or Tutor ($46,000 average earning annually)

Are you good at academics and teaching? Because if you are, a lot of families will pay you handsomely to teach their kids at home what they can’t learn at school. You won’t only teach kids, you can also be an online instructor for adults or college students.

What you’ll need is knowledge, wisdom, and a license on advanced topics like programming, law, and physics.

There are many more small business ideas you can find and they come in different forms. Just figure out what your passion is and what you’re good at. You can even learn a new skill or polish a dormant ability of yours. What matters is, find a way to earn money from it while being your own boss. But don’t quit your job if your business isn’t enough to support you or your family yet.
