1. Schedule social sharing using Buffer.

Instead of logging into your social media account to share a post, why not schedule several posts at once to cover the entire week? Set it and forget it. You save time by doing this because you’re focusing on one type of task at once. I use Buffer — it’s free and allows you to add accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

2. Click the “Boost Post” button.

Do you often share updates on Facebook? If so, can you identify which of these posts has performed well? Make sure to head over to the Insights tab of your business page and check your posts’ engagement levels. In case you didn’t know, Facebook’s Boost Post is a paid feature that allows you to amplify your reach. You can target a specific audience based on location, gender, interests, and more.

3. Answer a popular question on Quora.

Quora is not just a Q&A site, it’s a traffic-driving machine if you know how to use it. The key is to look for questions in your niche that get a lot of follows. This means that as soon as you answer those questions, people who follow them get notified immediately. Carefully craft your answer and link to your website.

4. Carry business cards everywhere you go.

Yes, business cards! Don’t you ever leave home without them. Whether your business is internet-based or not, giving out these cards to people you meet is a simple way to make your business known. The best part? It takes seconds to hand out a card.

5. Maximize your email signature.

If you send out weekly tips to your email subscribers, take the opportunity to promote your product or service without being salesy. Your email signature is a perfect place to add those links to your promotions.

6. Make your blog posts shareable.

Every blog post has a chance to reach hundreds to thousands of readers at once if you make them shareable from your site. Add social sharing buttons using a plugin. I would recommend the plugin called Social Warfare because it beautifully fits screens and is lightning fast.
